Jenni Esprit started her campaign in style last Friday night at Cranbourne, notching up Enver’s 200th winner! The daughter of Bel Esprit joined the stable earlier this year and had been showing much promise in both her attitude to training, and also in her recent jump out form which saw her cherry ripe to run well – and she didn’t disappoint!
She jumped extremely well and Brian Park was able to settle her and tuck her into the second pairing which gave them the perfect trail into the race. Upon straightening, she was given every chance and ridden out to hang on by a head which shows her fighting spirit!
Enver was very happy with the win and how she had come on since joining the stable. Brian was also very complementary of the horses efforts during the race when he asked her for more, and his ability to settle her from the jump and bring her into the race at the right time made all the difference.
Congratulations to her fantastic group of owners and supporters, particularly the Ottobre family, on her first up win!
A big congratulations again to Enver on bringing up 200 winners, and here’s to 200+ more!
