The highly promising Necessary has earned a spell after a terrific first campaign.
Enver Jusufovic said the filly, after finishing second behind Cao Coa in a $120,000 Super Vobis race for 3YOs at Caulfield last Saturday, earned a break.
“She’s gone from a maiden to city class in her first preparation. I’ll take her to Lauriston Park at Corinella for a break and target a winter city campaign with her,” he said.
Also heading for a break is Blood Oath, the Commands-Crossyourheart 3YO, who has been gelded.
“He’s shown us enough to suggest that he also can come back for a winter campaign. The gelding was successful because he was a rig (one testicle) and he will have six weeks out at Corinella.”
