Trainer Profile

Enver Jusufovic

Enver Jusufovic is a successful Victorian thoroughbred racehorse trainer who began training professionally in 2002. This followed a comprehensive grounding, gained through his time as racing manager for Victorian trainer Greg Eurell, as well as hands-on training at Racing Victoria’s accredited education centre.

He has applied this grounding and added his own philosophy to create his own winning ways, in addition to a hard work ethic adopted from his Bosnian and Slovenian-born parents.

From the time Enver saddled his first winner as a part-time trainer in 1994 when Pride of Nicholas was a five length winner at Stony Creek, his priority has been his horses and his owners.

Since going full-time in 2002, Enver has since trained multiple metropolitan winners such as Beach Box, Brief Eruption and Jacque, and a host of other horses who have put their owners in the winner’s circle.

His team is stabled at a purpose-built racing property in Cranbourne. His horses do their trackwork out at the Cranbourne Training Complex - Australia’s biggest thoroughbred training centre.

"I've had horses with a lot of trainers over the years. Enver is a caring trainer who looks after his horses - the horse is his absolute priority. If a horse is good enough, it will win with Enver. He keeps his horses and ultimately his owners happy. Enver is also a very good judge of fitness."
